Beverly M. Skram Named Executive Vice President of Sales By The Assist Group

Lakewood, Colo., July 27, 2007

Beverly M. Skram has been appointed Executive Vice President, Sales for The Assist Group. The appointment was announced today by Beverly Freedman, President and CEO of The Assist Group.

In this role, Skram will be responsible for leading The Assist Group's sales initiatives, including strategy and planning, new business, and customer retention for the company, which specializes in fully integrated disease management and claims resolution solutions for complex conditions.

"Beverly Skram is a disciplined, innovative and results-oriented manager with an exceptional record of leadership in the sales arena," says Freedman. "We are excited about the expanded growth potential that her industry experience will bring to our team."

A seasoned sales professional and nurse practitioner with more than 20 years of experience, Beverly M. Skram was previously Regional Director Central Region at Genzyme Genetics, where she was responsible for a multimillion dollar revenue line for reproductive, oncology and pathology genetic testing services in eight states. Previously, she was Reproductive Territory Manager for the same company.

Prior to that, Skram was Regional Director for Managed Care – West for HomMed LLC, a leader in the medical device industry. She signed and implemented the company's first contract, a pilot program for congestive heart failure telemonitoring with Kaiser Permanente of Northern California.

Skram has also held key positions at Philips Telemonitoring Services; Philips Medical Systems; Tyco/Nellcor Perinatal; Biex, Inc.; Matria Healthcare, Inc. and TOKOS Medical Corporation.

Skram received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from University of Rochester and completed the Women's Health Care Nurse Practitioner Program at University of Colorado Health Sciences Center.
