The Assist Group appoints Rose Bemis Heys Executive Vice President for Strategic Development
Lakewood, Colo., June 1, 2007
Rose Bemis Heys has been named Executive Vice President, Strategic Development for The Assist Group. The appointment was announced today by Beverly White Freedman, President and CEO of The Assist Group.
Bemis Heys is responsible for strategic planning for revenue growth and development of new managed care products for the company, which specializes in fully integrated clinical and financial disease management solutions.

"Her wealth of experience will enable us to continue the momentum in the expansion our product line, while maintaining the high standards that our clients expect."
Bemis Heys joins the Assist Group from Matria Healthcare, where she was Vice President of Strategic Development. In that position, she worked with payers to improve birth outcomes and reduce costs for the maternal and newborn continuum of care.
Prior to that, she was Vice President of Business Development for RelayHealth, an internet-based health service, and played key roles in the establishment of Value Story and the Carelink Corporation.
Co-author of a number of landmark papers regarding perinatal and neonatal care, Bemis Heys is on the Board of Directors of Sidelines, an international support group for women experiencing high risk pregnancies, and has worked with the LA Best Babies Network, dedicated to achieving healthy pregnancies and births in Los Angeles County. She trained as a nurse practitioner in women's and perinatal health at Harbor UCLA Medical Center and California State Long Beach.
